This design was created fo the back side of the family headstone. It includes 13 gardenias, one for each parent and one for each of the 11 children. Gardenia was the favorite flower of the couple. The bow element was taken from a photo of the mother's wedding bouquet. The wreath is designed to balance the family name which was mistakenly engraved off-center.

It was a joy to do this portrait of Norway's most popular psalm writer, Trygve Bjerkrheim. Here shown in clay, 40 x 60cm.

This bronze plaque was created for the Norwegian Women's Health Association-Sola chapter (Norske Kvinners Sanitetsforening, avd Sola) 100 year jubilee. It is placed outside of the Soltun Alderspensjonat, Sola, Norway. It depicts both the current-day and historical background of the group.

This relief shows Jesus riding into Jerusalem with crowds of people giving him a joyous welcome. They have strewn palm branches and clothes in his path. Width: approx. 1.2m.

The estimates were around 10,000 visitors, who visited the exhibition that weekend, which adorned 1.2 kilometers of Orre Beach in May, 2008. This was one of the Stavanger 2008, European Capital of Culture, projects. The 4 Jær communes participated involving 23 schools, nearly 300 teachers and 3000 pupils. The logistics were enormous! Pam and Rune Olsen visited the schools and instructed the pupils as they each created a relief. Then, they were all mounted on the beach for one huge exhibition.

This is the coveted Lions "Active Citizen Award" statuette in bronze awarded annually. It is designed with elements from the local ferry, Riskafjord II which served the Riska area for several decades. Each statuette is adorned with a brass nameplate and a 3-D Lions logo.

Courtesy of "Stavanger Aftenblad", this photo shows a portion of the creative team that made the nativity scene come to life. There were 23 members of AKIR, a local art group, who were involved. Pam designed and led the project and was active in all phases of the work. The installation, made in 2002, is set up annually before the Advent season and sands until the 14th day of Christmas. It has become a cherished part of the Christmas celebrations in our town.
